Working Mother magazine honors Joyce for the fourth consecutive year!
Working Mother magazine and SHOOK Research have released their 2020 list of Top Wealth Advisor Moms and for the fourth consecutive year Joyce Streithorst has been included! Financial professionals from around the country, who also happen to be working mothers with at least one child under the age of 18 living at home, are eligible to be considered for recognition on this prestigious list. SHOOK Research, an organization that seeks to highlight outstanding leaders in the financial industry uses extensive selection methodology to find the best of the best. In conjunction with Working Mother magazine, they bring attention to the achievements of women who have found a positive balance between their family and career, without sacrificing success.
As 2020 has been a year that has brought work and life challenges to individuals of all income levels, the role of financial professional as someone who can offer expert guidance is more important than ever. In an article featured in Working Mother magazine, Joyce offered her advice for moms who are juggling the demands of work and running a household. “Don’t forget about your finances,” Joyce said. “Extra demands on a mother’s time lately might result in compromising her work, potentially contributing to an increase in the wage gap. Moms must strive for steady work-life balance while remaining vigilant about their finances.”
With two children in college, Joyce has spent the majority of the last 25 plus years navigating the challenges of being both a financial professional and a mom. Having gotten married and started a family while building her career in the finance industry, Joyce has had the opportunity to experience similar milestones to those of many of her clients. As Director of Financial Planning, her personal insights as a mother bring another level of depth to how she approaches financial planning. Receiving the designation as a “Top Wealth Advisor Mom” reinforces Joyce’s belief that using her own life experiences in combination with her financial expertise enhances her ability to serve her clients’ needs even more.
In addition to Working Mother naming Joyce a four-time (2017-2020) Top Wealth Advisor Mom, Forbes included her on both their 2020 list of America’s Top Women Wealth Advisors and their 2020 Best-in-State Wealth Advisors ranking. She was also previously included on the Forbes 2018 Best-in-State list as well. With the unbiased professional recognition that she has received, it is evident that Joyce brings a commitment to excellence in all she does for her clients at Frisch Financial. She is dedicated to helping each of her clients define their own version of financial success and helping them to create a plan to achieve it.
Working Mother is an editorial publication in both print and digital format that provides guidance and highlights the successes of working mothers who are dedicated to building their careers and supporting their families at the same time. SHOOK Research is an organization that seeks to recognize outstanding leaders in the financial industry through a series of specially devised criteria meant to find those in our field who are going above and beyond.
SHOOK Research’s Selection Methodology:
SHOOK Research considered wealth advisors who are mothers with at least one child living at home under the age of 18. Ranking algorithm is based on qualitative measures derived from telephone and in-person interviews and surveys: service models, investing process, client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, etc.; and quantitative criteria, such as assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criterion because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Rankings are based on the opinions of SHOOK Research LLC. Neither SHOOK nor Working Mother receives compensation from the advisors or their firms in exchange for placement on a ranking.
